Happy November!

It’s a New Month!

My favorite season is fall and it’s a great opportunity to shed some things and make some changes. 🍁 .

I struggled the last quarter with my time management. I realized that in order to ensure that I finish this quarter strong and have great momentum heading into the New Year, that It will take me changing some habits and creating new ones.

I made up my mind that today will be my New Year.

This is the perfect time to start over.

Ain’t nothing like a good ol’ reset!

One thing you can do to start the process of a reset is to take a day to disconnect from social media. Use this time to really be intentional about  meditating and listening for your next moves. Often times the different things we see on social media tend to cloud our vision and create confusion. We start to think we should be doing what others are doing. This is one  great way to reset and get clarity.

As seasons change understand that there are also seasons in your relationships, business, ministry, career etc.

For this season, you are embarking on something new. Make the change, shed and say NO to some things,  reset and adjust your clock ⏰ this season.

It will be your best ever. . . . .

The Three Things That Highly Successful People Do To Push Past Limiting Beliefs and Manifest Success.

Have you just recently launched a business or tired of your daily 9-5 routine?

Prepare Yourself Mentally for Obstacles:

Obstacles are inevitable in life and business so therefore you should expect them. Once you understand that there are seasons in life and business you can prepare yourself mentally to embrace them. So when the time comes and you hit an obstacle, don’t panic, instead, ride it out, absorb the lessons, and move forward. This is not an opportunity to quit!

See Opportunities—Not Challenges: Many people see challenges and freeze with fear. The successful don’t see challenges, but instead look for opportunities. In every lesson there is an opportunity to learn, grow and become better. Be like the successful and look for the opportunities in all challenges. Its all about perspective!

Find a Good Mentor or Coach – One good way to find out  how to be successful is to get advice from a great mentor or coach. This person could be your boss, a co-worker or a professional that is highly successful. Find at least one person that is a few steps ahead of you and learn from them. You can have a paid coach, a virtual or real life mentor who you can reach out to. I have many virtual mentors online that i follow and get great tips from. The goal is to use you mentor and coach to help avoid common learning curves and therefore provide a shortcut to success.

Its time for you to take that leap and understand that it won’t always be perfect but it will be well worth it.

Does Work Life Balance Really Exist??

Welcome to September ‼️

As we end of this quarter and start to embrace the holidays, New Year, family and career obligations, business and goal setting, the question that constantly comes up is “Does Work Life balance truly exist ❓❓”

We all have the same 24 hours in a day. The truth is how much of it are you spending doing what fulfills you.

When you are running 🏃🏽‍♀️ around chasing priorities you:

1. Don’t get much accomplished ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

2. Feel more overwhelmed and  frustrated

  3. Beat up on yourself for not getting things done.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The one thing you should understand is that everything your juggling is important. The problem is, when you juggle too many things what ultimately happens is that you start to drop a ball or two as you keep adding more priorities.

The goal is to stop juggling and start managing your tasks.

No more will your tasks manage you!!

Here are 2 simple steps to managing tasks and achieving a sense of fulfillment.

1. Set priorities and rank them in order of importance.

2. Identify what needs to be done immediately, within the next 7 days and what can wait a bit.⠀⠀

3. Use a calendar to schedule and map out your priorities that need to be accomplished that week and month. Make sure that the times you set are are non-negotiable.⠀⠀

4. Highlight, check-off and celebrate each small win you accomplish. These small wins ultimately leads to big goals and you will feel a sense of accomplishment. ⠀⠀⠀

These steps can help to ensure that you focus on completing the most pertinent tasks, as opposed to placing your time and attention on tasks that can wait.

Prioritize your task list this week and see how much you will get accomplished!
