Doubts’ ultimate goal is to stop you in your tracks and prevent you from even getting started.
Doubt tricks you into making excuses and believing, you are not worthy, you’re not good enough, you don’t know enough , you don’t have enough, it’s too expensive etc. I certainly have experienced many of these feelings at various stages of my life especially as I embarked upon new challenges. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ultimately, I found that there were 2 simple things that I had to do in order to overcome my limiting beliefs and self doubts and they were:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
These 2 simple steps was the ammunition I needed to push past the mess in my head and alter my belief system in order to accomplish my goals.
Until Next Time
Welcome to September ‼️
As we end of this quarter and start to embrace the holidays, New Year, family and career obligations, business and goal setting, the question that constantly comes up is “Does Work Life balance truly exist ❓❓”
We all have the same 24 hours in a day. The truth is how much of it are you spending doing what fulfills you.
When you are running 🏃🏽♀️ around chasing priorities you:
1. Don’t get much accomplished ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Feel more overwhelmed and frustrated
3. Beat up on yourself for not getting things done.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The one thing you should understand is that everything your juggling is important. The problem is, when you juggle too many things what ultimately happens is that you start to drop a ball or two as you keep adding more priorities.
The goal is to stop juggling and start managing your tasks.
No more will your tasks manage you!!
Here are 2 simple steps to managing tasks and achieving a sense of fulfillment.
1. Set priorities and rank them in order of importance.
2. Identify what needs to be done immediately, within the next 7 days and what can wait a bit.⠀⠀
3. Use a calendar to schedule and map out your priorities that need to be accomplished that week and month. Make sure that the times you set are are non-negotiable.⠀⠀
4. Highlight, check-off and celebrate each small win you accomplish. These small wins ultimately leads to big goals and you will feel a sense of accomplishment. ⠀⠀⠀
These steps can help to ensure that you focus on completing the most pertinent tasks, as opposed to placing your time and attention on tasks that can wait.
Prioritize your task list this week and see how much you will get accomplished!
Until Next Time
|Behind every successful woman is a sister friend or circle that support and pushes her to be her best. Oprah has Gail, Kelly Rowland & Beyonce, La La & Kim Kardashian to name few. Either way they all have their sister circle.|
As an introvert I love keeping to myself so sisterhood is foreign to me. I keep a handful of people close to me.
I would prefer to sit in a corner listening to my favorite book or just sit quietly at a function observing before networking or jumping into anything. I love keeping to myself. Let me know if i am by myself with this one.Don’t get me wrong, I love to have fun and party but when I’m in a comfortable setting.
I am starting to believe that this whole introvert thing is a means to accept the term and remain comfortable? This i will address another day but overtime I learned that this is not the way to grow and succeed.
When women come together to support and empower other women, something magical happens. You need quality relationships, accountability and people that will keep you in check. You need that sisterhood that will force you out of the corner and out of your comfort zone. Those sisters that will ask you “Why haven’t you started that thing yet?” Sisters that listen to you, accept you as you are, see you as who you are becoming, don’t hold you back or get jealous of you, support you in your mission, and celebrate you. Your sisterhood should empower you.
Heck Women Understand Women!
Oftentimes with entrepreneurship, it can get a bit lonely especially when former friends are not on the same journey as you. It is always great to have like minds and folks of different experiences able to pour into you and guide you available to you.
So all my introverted ladies that’s stepping outside their comfort zones to network, build relationships, businesses, tribes and pour into others reach out and send a text to your tribe letting them know how much you appreciate them.
For those that are searching for a tribe there are 2 things you can do:
1. Search Facebook Groups with similar interests and join them. Comment, make connections, friend requests and contribute to the group.
2. Create a tribe of your own. I am certain that there are many women out there looking for a tribe, start your own.
If we truly expect to rise to the levels of success we want, we must come together.
UNTIL NEXT TIME
It’s time for you to define and design, not just your success, but your UNSHAKABLE success and this book will set you on the right path.

We are beginning the 3rd quarter of 2019.
My time is flying …….
Are you still tracking your progress?
Are you on target for your 2019 goals?
Half of the year is officially gone but there is still time for you to get back on target.
Here are 2 questions you should be asking yourself to evaluate if your on track :
1. Are you meeting your daily, weekly and/or monthly goals?
Its time to go back to your goals and review what you had set to accomplish by this time. Don’t worry if you’re not on target, at least you are aware of where you stand.
Don’t be too hard on yourself either, life happens and sometimes life can throw us off track. The key is to get up and get back on track. Start small and start with your weekly goals. This can help you establish what you need to focus on this week in order to get back on track.
Next check out your monthly goals and press restart. Change the dates realistically and reschedule your dates throughout the rest of this year.
Don’t give up on your goal because you feel off track just keep going. For example, if your goal was to lose 10 pounds by June and you were supposed to workout 3 x a week to accomplish this, then begin working your weekly goal this week and reschedule that goal for your 10 pound loss for July.
2. What 2 things do you need to change to bring the results you need?
Think about what caused you to fall off track and what do you need to put in place to remain off track. It could be accountability. Accountability can be in many different ways. Depending upon your goal, you can have an accountability partner, hire a coach or mentor, set alarms in your phone, create daily and weekly task lists etc. There are many different tips and tricks to help you stay focused.
Identify what 2 things you need to do or put in place in order to remain successful with your goals and DO IT!
These two questions will allow you to self-reflect, evaluate where you are and identify what you need to move forward successfully in completing your goals. It also identifies any weaknesses that you need to address in order to be successful. There is nothing wrong with re-strategizing and starting all over. Learn from your mistakes and keep pressing forward.
2019 is halfway gone and just like that 2020 will be here. Do not let your 2019 goals be the same for 2020.
You have the tools. Get it Done!!
The mind can play some serious tricks on you. It can cause you to doubt your ability, power and your dreams!
Here are 3 tips for keeping your mind right and goals tight:
1. Read!! Knowledge is key.
The more you know the more you grow. As you gain more knowledge you gain more confidence in your area of expertise and it leaves less room for doubt. Not only can we learn from the successes of other entrepreneurs but we can also learn a huge amount from Not only can we learn from the successes of other entrepreneurs but we can also learn a huge amount from their failures as well.
2. Personal Development.
Personal development is a lifelong pursuit because we always have room to grow. You must have the desire to and be open to learning and growing. Personal development helps you to gain more confidence and strengthen your beliefs. You can learn from others that have accomplished the same and more. Investing in trainings, workshops, conferences, READING ( #1) are keys to your overall growth. Either way you must invest in your personal development.
3. Which should be number one…Prayer 🙏🏾!
Prayer changes everything. Pray to eliminate your negative thoughts and distractions. Reach deep inside to access the power of praying in order to change your thoughts, and ultimately your life. Prayer is a two-way communication with your highest power (for me it’s GOD). When we tap into his resources by faith and pray, miracles happen.
When in doubt, pray!
When afraid, pray!
When worried, pray!
When in trouble, pray!
Prayer, reading and professional development will help you to become more knowledgeable and confident which helps you to be more focused and productive.
