I ALREADY HAVE GOALS BUT WHAT’S NEXT?

What are some of your goals for 2022? What type of business do you have or wold like to start? What areas do you need support?

I’m just going to share what I’m working on for 2022. We all know that 2020 was a doozy, but 2021 for me was one of the roughest years that I’ve had. I’ve dealt with anxiety, palpitations, like complete overwork and burnout.

I’ve been a registered nurse for over 17 years now, and this was the most stressful year of it. And I really had to take a step back to reevaluate and think about my nurse owned business, and what I want to do, my focus and how I want to have more impact in 2022.

So yes, that includes more visibility, more helping people, again, more impact without the burnout, because as a professional woman, unfortunately, sometimes we feel like we have to do everything.

We have to be the CEO, and truthfully, you don’t have to be the chief everything office. I learned how to delegate and assign tasks and to just focus on where I am gifted at. That’s going to be one of the keys to avoiding burnout in life and business.

So it’s really crucial to, to hone in on what it is you want and that you have a strategy for your business strategy and life goals. You know, set your priorities in 2022. And for me, the priority is self care and business expansion.

Now’s the time you’re going to see a lot of people talking about vision boards and visual effects. Which is absolutely great. But most of the time we put those vision boards together and we post it on our wall in our office or in our homes. And we don’t have a strategy on how to achieve it. So it’s great that you have this vision board here in front of you, but what is guiding you? What is guiding your steps? What is it that you’re going to do?

What is the roadmap for you to achieve those things that you’ve placed on that vision board? Because otherwise it’s just a pretty picture that you’ve put together. So you have to understand that this is your vision, that you are clear with what you want, and a plan on how you are going to get it.

And that’s where the business strategy comes in.

That’s where the strategy, the plan, the roadmap, the blueprint comes in because most of the times I see where they start a business and they have this idea and they run it and get an LLC and they do all these things, which is great because they’re taking that leap to start your new business and became a nurse entrepreneur, like myself.  But relying only on Google and some people, and  also Googling this coach and downloading this, and using all this information, trying to know.

Getting a strategy that is not even tailored and aligned to you. It’s not even aligned for your capacity, your skills, your gifts, your offerings, your capabilities, your time, especially if you’re working a nine to five, you can go and watch a coach that says you have to post five times a day. But if you’re working 40 hours a week, eight hour days, and sometimes, maybe longer like myself, how do you have time to post five times a day?

Even if you schedule. In advance, that’s still nerve wrecking. That’s still burning yourself out and becoming a slave to your business. So it’s so crucial that you get a strategy that’s tailored to you and  individualized so that you can accomplish what it is that you set out on your vision board.

Nurses are succumbing to work related stress and fatigue. Learn how to leave the bedside with a plan that works for your situation! And that’s the one thing that I’m working on. Working to help 100 healthcare workers and nurses to start a business this year. Get your tailor-made strategy to help you see business success.

Imagine that you’re taking a trip from New York to Philly and you’ve never been there before, you don’t have a map, you don’t have a GPS, you don’t have anything you’re just hopping on a highway. How do you expect to get there? This is like what you are doing in your business.

I don’t need a coach. I don’t need support, I can do this on my own.” I got Google and you’re hopping in that car and you’re driving all the way to Philly.

Then you wonder why it’s taking forever to get there. You’re wondering why you have so many detours, so many obstacles and wondering why you are wasting all this money? It’s because you’re not getting the support, accountability and the strategy that you need. And this is why I created my Unshakable Success Program and an 8-week program designed for nurses and healthcareworkers that are either emerging or aspiring to be entrepreneurs.

Nurse entrepreneurs are able to use their professional skills and knowledge gained while on-the-job, so they can transition into a full-time business owner. So not only can you get the clarity on what you want to achieve, but also the strategy and support to see consistent success. Becoming a nurse entrepreneur gives you multiple options to help you exit the bedside on your terms. Take control of your career and make an exit plan that works for you!
