Boy Did I Mess Up!

Hey there!

I was just sitting here reflecting on my teenage years when I became a teen mom at 17. I went through so many emotions, thoughts, self-doubt with lots of uncertainty.

I could have let this one mistake determine the whole trajectory of my life for better or worst but I came to realize one thing…….

We all mess up. Period ‼️

So instead of beating yourself up and letting your mistakes hold you back every time you do mess up…

How about you shift the way you see your mistakes?

Either your past will keep you in a rut of guilt and shame…or you will accept it for what it is and experience the freedom to move on and enjoy the now.

I chose freedom!

I chose to not be so hard on myself and to forgive myself for my mistakes. This helped me to keep striving for success and helped me to overcome all the obstacles I faced then and up until now.

I pursued on to graduate High School, enroll and complete Nursing School, start multiple successful businesses while climbing the career ladder to a top leadership position and now helping others do the same.

What will you choose today, Freedom or Guilt?

You See………Your Past Shapes You, But It Doesn’t Define You!
